**** SCF Sharks vs the Timber Lane Tiger Sharks ****
This Saturday, June 10th is our last dual AWAY meet against the Timber Lane Tiger Sharks! Let's show our Shark spirit and keep our undefeated status with another "Win" for the season!! Bring your Sharks Spirit and help cheer on our team!
Pool Address: 2820 Wood River Rd., Spring, TX 77373
During meets, front parking is reserved for officials, head concessions, and equipment managers of both teams. You will have to park on the street. Do not block the entrance or exit of the parking lot while loading/unloading. Also, do not park illegally or you will be ticketed! The daycare across the street is out of business, so it should be OK to park there, but do not park in the Bay Seafood parking lot as they are known to tow vehicles.
Please be mindful of their rules, their signs, and their property as we are their guests, and we expect the same respectful behavior from our visitors.

Swimmer Check In:
Swimmers are asked to arrive at the pool by 7:00 am. They must check in by 7:25 am at the latest. Any swimmer checked in after 7:30 am runs the risk of being scratched for the entire meet. Look for one of our Junior Coaches, who will give swimmers a slip with the events they are swimming. Swimmers should then check in with their coaches by 7:30 am for warmup instructions. Coaches will be set up on the far side of the pool deck closest to the starting blocks.
Volunteers and Volunteering:
**COMPLETE YOUR VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT & SIGN-UP ASAP if you have not done so already**
Since this a dual meet, there will be two Volunteer shifts during the meet. Volunteers need to check-in with Nora, our Volunteer Coordinator, immediately after you’ve checked in your swimmer(s) for the meet. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be located next to the swimmer check-in. If you are volunteering in a position, you have never done before, you will be put in contact with the right person to get you situated in your duties.
Family Set up:
We will have our team's family set up in the grassy area outside the pool.
Families are asked to help us by cleaning up after themselves and around the pool area after the meet is done. This will ensure we can all go home on time and keep things running smoothly. Your help is much appreciated and will get noticed and rewarded!!!
What to Bring:
| Suit, Goggles, Swim Cap, Towel, Sharpie, Cover-up, Sunscreen |
Concessions:
There will be concessions available at the meet with breakfast and lunch items available.
General Rules:
Swimmers and parents are not allowed to question, interfere, or talk to the meet officials. Officials will be wearing white shirts and blue shorts/pants and will have NWAL name tags. This includes scorers and computer entry officials. Violation of these rules can cost our team points and can cause your swimmer to be disqualified from their last or next event.
Swimmers need to follow the rules of conduct agreed to during the team registration process. No rough-housing, rude, dangerous, or disrespectful behavior will be allowed. Violation of these rules can cause swimmers to be disqualified and asked to leave.
Any issues that may occur during the meet need to be brought to the attention of our Team Rep, Katherine Henderson, another SCF board member or a coach.
If you have any questions, please find one of our board Members, we're always happy to help. We look forward to seeing everybody on Saturday Morning!!
Respectfully,
Helen Dorsey
SCF Sharks Secretary
